Mihail Rumyantsev

Mikhail Rumyantsev was born in the city of Rzhev in the Tver Region. He first became interested in photography during his school years, capturing the natural beauty of his homeland. In 2015, he moved to Saint Petersburg to enroll at SPbGASU, where he honed his photography skills under the guidance of Vadim Fedorov at the university’s photography studio. 

His favorite genres include urban scenes, landscapes, genre photography, and portraits. Along with photography, he is also actively involved in videography. 

To date, he has produced over 300 videos on various topics, ranging from weddings and university event recaps to car test drives and music videos. He has won awards at the annual “KADR” university photo exhibitions, placed second at the “Saint Petersburg in the World — The World in Saint Petersburg” citywide photo exhibition, and also took second place in the Saint Petersburg Youth Festival “Voskresenie” photography competition.
